Introduction

Hello there!

My name is Darren ShopbelI. I am an entrepreneur, independent investor, financial (investing), and life coach. I started this journey over 15 years ago; exploring the financial system and trying to figure out how to achieve what most thirst for…” TheAmerican Dream”. This dream comes in many forms and variations. For some, it’s about providing a better life for their family, and for others being able to express themselves without oppression and opposition. For me, it was about being able to utilize my talents and skills that God has blessed me with and provide for my family’s future. This was about providing the financial means to take care of my family and others. Through this journey, I not only learned more about the financial markets, but also about being a better person, and learning the art of what I abbreviated as the “KUWI”. The KUWI, which stands for Knowledge, Understanding, Wisdom, and Insight, is not a mystical or mysterious concept. Many people know it, and some have even defined within literature similar concepts. What I have taken away from these concepts allows one to master not only the financial markets but anything one puts energy towards. With that, one can achieve in their own eyes -“The American Dream”.This journey has been extremely rewarding and through this process, I am now a certified financial coach, independent investor, entrepreneur, life coach and currently pursuing my Series 65 financial certification. The topic of financial systems can be overwhelming, complex, and filled with various opinions on how or what you should be investing in. With that, people tend to back away from the topic and never explore the possibilities. The good thing is that you are not alone. With all the investment choices, expert opinions, and complexity, education can allow you to become more comfortable and confident in the arena of finance. I have taken this similar journey 15 years ago where I had zero spending capital and debt with little to no knowledge of where and how to begin. Fast forward to the present day, I have paid off two houses within a 5-year timeframe and have achieved financial independence.

I did not have any special inside knowledge or connections when I started out, nor did I start with millions of dollars. I started from scratch with just a few thousand dollars to my name and invested in the same markets that you can invest in –stocks, bonds, real estate, tax liens, gold, and silver. I’ve walked the walk. I’ve been there myself, navigated through it, and I can help you find your way through a series of courses designed for the beginner investor or help one advance to deeper knowledge and techniques. All my courses are further designed to learn techniques from each course to pay for the course you are taking.

My Story

In 1992, I entered the Marine Corps where I made as little as 14k/year before taxes and I remember many times where I had to donate plasma just to have a decent meal. I had no college education and had no aspirations of going to college. What I knew at that time was how to be a Marine. As time went on, I ended up pursuing my degree in Computer Information Systems working for various IT consulting companies. However, I never really felt fulfilled financially or spiritually. I felt a large part of my life missing and wanted to dig in and see where I ended up. A close friend of mine introduced me to trading and investing, and showed me the power of compounding interest. I knew from that point forward that if I wanted any chance at financial freedom, pursuing some form of investing was the ticket! Immediately, I took a strong interest in investing. I learned everything that I could from my friend: I attended investing/trading seminars, read books, and opened various trading accounts. I had a thirst for knowledge and wanted to learn everything I could about this new area called financial systems. Not long after my education, I began to see huge returns. But what I failed to see is, by not learning and mastering the arena, those huge returnsquicklybecame huge losses. I started to become greedy, fearful and,did not follow the rules I had learned or plan. I relied on gimmicks, systems and so-called expertsthat promised huge returns. Now, more than a decade later, I have mastered the art of financial systems. I’veapplied my failures and successes and the artof the markets to help guide others in demystifyingthe markets. I want to teach YOU how to master the arena and eliminate the confusion that took me years to figure out. I will remove the “noise” and teach you how to manage your time in a more meaningful way that will prove rewarding both financially as well as becoming more financially intelligent.

My Investing Education

My investing knowledge was very limited as a child. I did not have the social structure that encourages financial intelligence. Myparents were hard working Americans who, like everyone else, wastrying to put food on the plate for their children. As I entered adulthood and was exposed to colleagues / friends who took some financial related classes, brought to my attention some books or seminars that would allow me to further my education on investing. From that point forward, I bought and studied virtually everything I could get my hands-onregarding investing, wealth building, and personal finance. As I learned;I invested, I made mistakes, I lost money, I made money, learned more, and eventually started having consistent success. My goals of being financial free took longer than I thought –about 15 years, but I now have the “choice” to work at age 45 and be debt free. I say “choice” because I’m still working today. I work becauseI enjoy what I do, not because I must.I have had countless conversations with people over the years thatare working in a career or job that has consumed them. They wake up each day and not feel thesense of purpose in what they do. Having a choice to workbrings a whole new perspective to the workplace, and having that choice also makes you a better person. Thus, you are not consumed or burden by stress, work,or the yoke that cripples so many entrepreneurs from taking the risk.My only regret is that I did not pursue,or was not exposed to,some financial literacy at an earlier age.
